The word safari comes from the Swahili meaning "to journey" or "to travel". Established in 2006 by a number of small independent, highly experienced, Tanzanian safari operators and the Tanzanian based Scottish citizen Kenneth Connell and his Tanzanian wife Anna, My Tanzanian Safari aims to provide top quality, responsibly organized, and unforgettable journey's across the country's whole range of magnificent National Parks. Providing not only informative and breath-taking journey's for those who have no experience of safari and needing expert guidance, but also having the capacity to met the needs of the more experienced travelers who want to build their own itinerary and set their own pace of travel. One of the central aims of this locally based operation is that the majority of the money you spend with us stay's in the Country and will be used to help develop the local economy and infrastructure and is not siphoned off to an off-shore account as so often is the case.
